New Monster Features Rolling Online!

We launched an alpha of our Monster editor this past week and have started receiving some great feedback.

Meanwhile, we march alone fixing bugs and adding features! Some monster-related improvements include:

  • On the monsters page, you can now filter by monster type with a single click. By the way, we love Xan’s type illustrations!
  • On the monster pages, “Environments” are now loaded in for all the SRD-derived monsters.
  • More monster descriptions have been entered.

You can also now search on the spells page. This is super helpful. Try, for example 2nd-level ranger spells or fire evocation.

Both search pages (monsters and spells) now allow negation, so you can try something like druid !wizard !cleric if you only want druid spells that clerics and wizards don’t have.

So much fun to just play with these tools we are building. Feels like we’re in middle school again. In a good way!

Oh, and you can now make a clean print of any page on our site sans menus and branding and whatnot. This is especially helpful if you want to print a monster to a printer or export to PDF.
