Classes

A character class is a paradigm that a player chooses for their character which determines a unique set of abilities, skills, and powers, such as martial skills, spellcasting, or healing. There are many classes to choose from, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Some timeless examples of classes include fighters, rogues, wizards, and clerics, among others. The class that a player chooses will significantly impact their character's role in a party of adventurers.

Subclasses

A subclass is a chosen specialization within a character class. For example, a spellcaster might specialize in a school of magic and a martial character might focus on archery over melee combat.
