Swarm of Toy Soldiers

Today we are highlighting a swarm that most people haven’t heard of and don’t take very seriously - a swarm of toys!

Now I hear you scoffing dear reader, but know that this swarm can appear to be regular toy soldiers if they remain motionless, so don’t let them get the drop on you! They aren’t very hardy, seeing as they are just toys, but they are quite resistant to many different attacks and conditions. Make sure you’re ready with different weapons at hand (good advice for any adventuring party, really!) Furthermore, if you plan to go invisible in order to sneak past it, know that the swarm has tremorsense and it will detect you nonetheless!

This peculiar swarm is typically found in urban environments such as the inside of a house where it can blend in without being detected amongst other childish or mundane looking items. Lastly, be careful of sharing battle strategy with your party members around this swarm, because while it cannot speak, it can understand common and change its own strategy in reaction to yours.

Follow these simple guidelines and I’m sure you’ll be prepared for an encounter with one of these swarms.
