Bloated Zombie
Upon death, bursts releasing putrid gases and fluids. Each creature in a 10/20-foot area originating from the monster must succeed on a DC 10 Con Save or be poisoned and a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or be coated in a foul-smelling liquid. A coated creature exudes a horrible stench for 1d4 hours. The coated creature is poisoned as long as the stench lasts, and other creatures are poisoned while within 5 feet of the coated creature. A creature can remove the stench on itself by using a short rest to bathe in water, alcohol, or vinegar.
Any creature that starts its turn within 5 ft of the monster must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of the creature’s next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to the stench of all types of this monster for 1 hour.
Actions
Zombies
A zombie is a corpse reanimated by contemptible magic. Drawn from the grave or the battlefield, these undead often appear in tattered apparel with bodies half-decayed and dripping with worm-ridden filth. Zombies walk with a shambling gait with mindless persistence. While their movements are awkward, they are physically powerful. A foul stench of decay hangs heavy in the air around them.
