If the tiger moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the tiger can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

The clockwork tiger has two reactions that can be used only for Deflecting Leap.

When the clockwork tiger’s ward is the target of an attack the tiger can see, the tiger can move up to 10 feet toward its ward without provoking opportunity attacks. If it ends this movement within 5 feet of its ward, the tiger becomes the target of the attack instead.
