Death Bump Burst.

When the swarm makes contact with a creature or object it must make a DC 10 Constitution save or explode in a burst of Cosmic Energy, which generally takes a physical form such as fire or rocky shrapnel.

Roll an attack roll to see if a member of the swarm hits a target, passes them by, or hits a wall/object. Upon an unsuccessful Con save Each creature within 5 ft. of it must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 (2d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Swarm.

The swarm can occupy another creature’s space and vice versa, and the swarm can move through any opening large enough for a Tiny insect. The swarm can’t regain hit points or gain temporary hit points.

While the swarm occupies the space of a Medium or larger creature, the swarm has half cover. Weapon attacks directed at the swarm which miss, but which would have hit without the bonus from cover, instead hit the creature sharing the space.

Actions

Multiattack. The Swarm has as many attacks as it has d6 in hit points, attacks can be made on the same or different targets.
Cookie Chomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 0 ft., one target in the swarm’s space. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 2) piercing damage, or 5 (2d4) piercing damage if the swarm has half of its hit points or fewer.

Legendary Actions

The swarm can take 3 legendary actions choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The swarm regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Cosmic Hop. The swarm transfers to the parallel plane
Rebirth of the Swarm (Costs 2 Actions). Double the Current Swarm HP (acting as if the number of creatures has doubled)

Variants

A. Cosmic Cookie.

A peaceful cousin of the Cosmic Cutters, usually living within the colony. No abilities, same stats, and they share the appearance of the larger group. Distinguishable by a DC 18 Perception or Nature Check.

Coastal Cosmic Cutters.

A water based variety with lightening OR thunder damage for coasts.

Slime Cosmic Cutter of the Deep.

Stone Cosmic Cutters.

A rocky option for mountains, Underdarks, or mines.

Toxic Cosmic Cutters.

Poison option for the deeper seas or swamps

Wildflame Cosmic Cutters.

Fire option for Underdark, Volcanic Mountain, or Fire Planes

Cosmic Cookie(Cutters)

A swarm of small (>1ft) fish like creatures that have absorbed the cosmic energy of the world around them. They look similar to a cross between a piranha and cookie cutter shark, often leaving a victim alive if they cannot devour it quickly enough. The bites taken from their targets are cookie shaped cut outs of flesh (and light armor).

Intelligence check (DC 10): These creatures eat meat & touching these fish is ill-advised, they (can) explode
Intelligence check (DC 15): Swarms like this are only found near strong Wild Magic
Intelligence check (DC 20): Some members of the group are harmless
Intelligence check (DC 25): A Nest & the rest of the Colony will be located near by, possibly across dimensional planes.
