Flying Oil Lamp
The oil lamp is incapacitated while in the area of an antimagic field. If targeted by dispel magic, the oil lamp must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against the caster’s spell save DC or fall unconscious for 1 minute.
While the oil lamp remains motionless and isn’t flying, it is indistinguishable from a normal oil lamp.
As a bonus action, the oil lamp can set itself ablaze or extinguish its flames. While ablaze, the oil lamp sheds bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
Actions
As a bonus action, if the oil lamp is lit, it can cause its flame to flash suddenly. Each creature within 5 feet of the flash must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or be blinded until the end of the oil lamp’s next turn.

Variants
This variant is not vulnerable to bludgeoning damage. Its attacks do not deal any fire damage. Its Flare Up action affects creatures within a 30-foot cone. While lit, it casts bright light in a 60-foot cone and dim light for an additional 60 feet.
While lit, an Animated Hooded Lantern casts bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. When it uses its Emergency Extinguish reaction or Ignited Illumination trait, its light does not actually extinguish but is merely obscured, allowing it to continue dealing fire damage in the dark.
An Animated Torch does not have a vulnerability to bludgeoning damage, but while lit it can use its action to ignite a flammable object. While lit, it provides bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. Its fire damage is reduced to 1.
Animated Objects
Through the use of powerful magic, otherwise mundane objects, such as a broomstick, kettle, rug, or even a weapon or suit of armor, can be turned into a kind of primitive creature. An animated object is able to move, perceive, and even attack.
