Kobold Flame-Touched
If the kobold fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
The kobold has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the kobold’s allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.
While in sunlight, the kobold has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Actions
The kobold exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 10 (3d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Bonus Action. The kobold digs deep and emits a loud rumbling roar that inspires its allies. Each kobold within 30 feet of Fire-Touched heals 9 (2d8) hit points.
Half-Dragon
A half-dragon is a hybrid that bears the qualities and characteristics of a particular variety of true dragon. Such draconic hybrids can be found with a humanoid, beast, giant, or even monstrosity lineage.
Mysterious Origins. How half-dragons have come to exist is a matter of some debate. Some assert they are the result of a mystical ritual involving the blood of a true dragon or were transfigured through some ancient magic lost to our mages. It is also possible that they are the offspring of a dragon morphed into another form and finding a mate. In any case, half-dragons strongly express the appearance and qualities of their heritage.
Extended Life. Dragons live centuries, with many being known to successive generations of humans in their territory. Half-dragons receive a portion of this blessing, growing old at half the rate of their non-draconic relatives. Half-dragon humans have reached well past one and a half centuries in lifespan.
Elemental Breath. Just as true dragons do, many half-dragons possess the ability to unleash a breath weapon. The nature and potency of this weapon typically mirror that of their draconic parent.
Draconic Qualities. Half-dragons tend to possess the personal qualities associated with their draconic nature. All tend to be inclined toward a self-assured over-confidence and are easily bedazzled by material wealth. Beyond this, they seem to vary by type. A half-copper dragon is likely playful and mischievous and a half-black dragon might have a characteristic disdain and contempt for others.
