This benefit lasts until the end of the turn. If the kordite priest expends a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the extra damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 1st.

At the start of its turn, the kordite priest can gain advantage on all melee weapon Attack rolls it makes during that turn, but Attack rolls against it have advantage until the start of its next turn.
