Pocket Purple Worm
As you are sleeping, you feel something move across your face. You swat it away and feel a searing pain that spreads throughout your cheek. You wake up to find a tiny purple worm with it's stinger embedded in your face.
The pocket purple worm is a tiny version of the real thing. Scholars theorize that it is a mutation of its larger sibling, and that fully matured, it grows to be larger than an earthworm but smaller than a snake. Make no mistake though, this tiny worm has ways to defend itself. Its bite is strong enough to burrow through solid rock, and it can sense the slightest movement around itself.
