Sterling has advantage on Saving Throws against being Charmed, and magic can’t put Sterling to sleep.

Pack Tactics.

Sterling has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of Sterling’s allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.

Trance.

Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, it can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, it gains the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

Innate Spellcasting. Sterling's innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 11, +3 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: prestidigitation

Actions

Multiattack. Sterling makes two melee attacks.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.
Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.
Leadership (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest).

For 1 minute, Sterling can utter a special command or warning whenever a nonhostile creature that it can see within 30 ft. of it makes an attack roll or a saving throw. The creature can add a d4 to its roll provided it can hear and understand Sterling. A creature can benefit from only one Leadership die at a time. This effect ends if Sterling is incapacitated.

Reactions

Parry. Sterling adds 2 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, Sterling must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon.
