If a PC makes a melee attack against the Rotten that does more then 1/2 the Rotten’s remaining HP the PC must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or contract the Dovacay themselves

Short Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) slashing damage.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage.

Ghouls

Ghouls are undead humanoids with skin taut over unrotting flesh. Armed with claw-like hands and razor-sharp teeth, they scavenge the dead and attack the living on sight.

Eaters of Flesh. These vile undead frequent accursed places filled with the stench of death. They roam dark areas, such as graveyards, abandoned crypts, and untended battlefields, in search of sustenance.

Unholy Hunger. Driven by their insatiable hunger, ghouls are relentless yet often careless, making them susceptible to traps and ambushes.
