Actions

Multiattack. The tyrannosaurus makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its tail. It can’t make both attacks against the same target.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 33 (4d12 + 7) piercing damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 17). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the tyrannosaurus can’t bite another target.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Dinosaurs

Once, in a time before our peoples, a clade of terrifying reptilian beasts is said to have ruled these lands. Among these dinosaurs, as they are often called, some were clever, some were ferocious hunters, some were behemoths the size of elder dragons, and still others had wings like birds.

Across the lands, their bones are scattered among signs of some cataclysm, which utterly destroyed them and ended their reign. Perhaps it’s a lesson in humility that only the birds survived.

And yet, we sometimes hear rumors that some of these mighty beasts still live on faraway isles and in forsaken places where even the brave fear to tread.
