The Baron can activate the dark blood in it’s body, allowing it an extra action or bonus action on it’s turn. Once the action is completed, the baron takes 5 (2d4) poison damage from the blood’s corruptive nature. The baron can’t use this ability again until it has completed a short or long rest.
Spellcasting.
The vanquished baron is a 5th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following sorcerer spells prepared:

Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d4 + 5) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) lightning damage.
Reactions
Dark Swap.
When the baron is hit with a weapon attack, it can use its reaction to target a creature within 120 ft of it that it can see. The target and the attacking creature must make a Cha saving throw with a DC of 16. If both creatures fail, they swap places. If only one of them fails , the creature that failed the check is teleported to a spot within 5 ft of the creature that passed the check. If the teleported creature cannot fit in the new space, nothing happens.
If the attack was a critical hit, the Cha save DC is increased to 18.
