Nagas
“Whispers in ancient ruins and labyrinthine temples speak of serpent forms weaving spells and guarding forbidden knowledge. These are the Nagas, cunning and immortal guardians of the arcane.”
Eldritch Protectors. Nagas are serpentine beings of great intelligence and magical prowess. Often residing in isolated temples or ruins, they serve as self-appointed guardians of ancient secrets and powerful artifacts.
Twisted Immortality. A unique blend of magic and dark rituals grants nagas an unsettling form of immortality. A naga is tenaciously alert as it does not require air, food, water, or sleep. Should they be killed, their spirit regenerates over time, eventually bringing them back to life unless specific rites are conducted to prevent their return.
Arcane Mastery. Nagas are adept spellcasters, their magic often focused on illusions, enchantments, and elemental control. They use their arcane abilities to ward off intruders, manipulate the environment, and deceive or coerce those who dare venture into their domains.
Venomous Diplomacy. Though fiercely territorial, nagas can be reasoned with and are sometimes willing to parlay. However, their cunning intellect makes them unpredictable negotiators, and their goals are often shrouded in layers of deception or complexity.
