You imbue objects within 30 feet of you with limited sentience and animation, giving them the ability to communicate with you and follow your simple commands. You can question objects about events in the spell’s area within the past day, gaining information about creatures that have passed, weather, and other circumstances.
You can also ask objects to do favors for you. Objects might be able to perform such tasks on your behalf, at the GM’s discretion. The spell doesn’t enable objects to walk or move about, but they can freely move limb-like structures, appendages, and the like. For instance, a statue of a person holding a sword could manipulate its face, move its arms and manipulate things with its hands, but it could not step off of its pedestal or drop its sword (unless it was a real sword placed in its carved hand).
If a construct creature is in the area, you can communicate with it as if you shared a common language, but you gain no magical ability to influence it.
This spell can cause a trap to disarm itself.
